Common Poisonous Garden Plants

Many plants are poisonous to dogs, so check if you have these in your garden. You do not need to dig them up but supervise the pup and stop any chewing of plants. It's best not to leave them alone in the garden until you know they are not going to wreck it!! Terriers are notorious for digging so try and nip this activity in the bud. Distract the pup with a toy or a game instead.

Most of these plants have a bitter taste which will discourage your puppy but it is wise to be vigilant.
